Hi It is to inform all the RVOs that annual calendar 2013 by RVOA has been delivered to all the districts. It came into the notice of association that calendars are still not distributed to all the RVOs in some districts. 5 calendar per RVO plus some extra calendars for ZP and AH offices have been sent to all districts. it is request to all RVOs that they contact their district president if they still not received their calendars and district presidents inturn contact me if they are having any problem regarding this issue. Hi Today a RVOA delegation met minister RD, S. Surjit Singh Rakhra in Patiala which was lead by Dr Jiwan Gupta. Delegation gave a memmorendum to minister that contain long pending demands of RVOs like Infrastructure, Medicine supply and advertisement for vacant posts. (Memmorendum is attached with this post. Min. assure delegation that he will look into matter and these demands will be taken care soon. Hi A MONTHLY MEETING OF RVO ASSOC.DISTT.PATIALA WAS HELD TODAY AT ZP COMPLEX PTA.10 RVOS OUT OF TOTAL 16 RVOS PATRTICIPATED IN THE MEETING.IMPORTANT ISSUES LIKE CPF,RFA,ACR,SERVICE BOOKS WERE WIDELY DISCUSSED.DR DHANJAL COMPILED THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MEETING.OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD GET TOGETHER OF VETS.WE WILL HOLD REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS ON LAST DAY 0F EACH MONTH-DR JIWAN GUPTA --

Hi A monthly meeting of District Unit (Amritsar)RVOA Pb was held on 27.1.2013 at Service Club Amritsar. I presided over this meeting that was convened by Dr Puneet Malhotra, general secretary. All agenda points (Agenda attached with this post)were discussed and views expressed by members were by minute secretary of meeting. Financial statement was presented by Dr Prabhdeep Singh Dhillon, finance secretary of RVOA Asr. A lecture on clinical animal nurition was given by Dr Manish Kwatra, animal nutrionist from Bayer Animal Health Division.Calendar of RVOA Pb was also released.Meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks by President. This meeting was sponsored by Bayer Animal Health Division and sponsorship was arranged by Dr Navdeep Singh Dhillon. Glimpses of meeting are also attached with this post. A RVOA delegation led by state President Dr. N.S. Khinda met newly appointed Director Rural Development and Panchayats Sh. V.K. Raju. Delegation welcomed the director and told him about long pending demands of RVOs. Seperate directorate, CPF/PRAN, Departmental examination and Infrastructure fund for the hospitals were the major demands. Director assured the delegation for the speedy disposal of these demands. The delegation also met Deputy Director HQ S. Shivdev Singh and asked him about clarifications regarding RFA, maintenance allowance for water and electricity, increments, ACRs, Service book records and Additional Charges. Delegation also complained him about the apathic attitude of some Zila Parishads in implementing the departmental instructions about RVOs. DDHQ assured delegation that letter for clarifications will be dispatched soon and strict instructions will be passed to ZP about implementation of instructions from directors office. Problems related to budget and DDO powers in Fazilka district was also dicussed. Delegation was comprised of Dr GP Singh, Dr Abdul Mazid, Dr Nitin Goutam, Dr Mukesh Gupta and Dr Anil Sethi.
