NOTE : We've only uploaded Service rules for RVOs and not RMOs. Anybody desirable can request Dr. Jiwan Gupta.

According to these,

1. The cadre is distt. level cadre.

2. Selection of new RVOs will be done at ZP level and Chairman (ZP) is head of selection committee.

3. If anybody gets transferred inter-distt. he/she will loose his/her seniority.

4. Minor punishments (incl. stopping of increments etc.) can be done by ADC and Rest Dir, RD.

5. 2 years probation period

6. Salary, holidays and everything else is exactly similar to VO (AH).

I have these queries

1) are we gazzated ( have attestation authority )

 

Yes ofcourse we do. Class A Gazetted.

 

2) if yes what is name of our service like AH docs has name like PAHS-1

 

As mentioned in service rules : Punjab Panchayati Raj Rural Veterinary - A (PPRRV-A)

 

3) how many C.L, medical leaves, earned leaves are given to VO and now RVO

Per Year : 21Leaves (total : CL+earned) , 10 earned and no idea of limits to medical but do needs medical cert. each time. (PS: headache/fever is not counted lol. One has to be admitted or seriously ill. Not even this, if a family member is sick, then You can still get Leave for his/her treatment,,, and to quote i've recently seen a VI taking 3 months medical leave to get his son treated.)

 

NOTE : Earned Leave can be carried forward to next year. eg. if one has taken 6 in a year then the remaining 4 can be carried forward to next year.

regarding leaves, what I know is :

CASUAL LEAVE:

for females 20 CL in 1 calender year

for males 10 CL for 1st 10 years of service in one calender year, then 15 in 1 year and full 20 CL after 15-20 years of service.

MEDICAL LEAVE:

its 20 medical leaves on half pay.

if one wishes to get full pay, 2 leaves r deducted from his account.

Medical certificate is required only while availing half pay leave (or depending on the dealing clerk)

EARNED LEAVE:

it is calculated as 1/24th of the total days in service in one year. Don't exactly know how much it comes out to be but 10-12 is expected.

WITHOUT PAY LEAVE: this is leave one can avail in cases of medical illness when his Med. Leaves r finished or any other case. Duration of leave can be quite long.

Medical leaves and Earned leaves r carried forward to next year.

Casual leaves and Earned leaves r calculated on calender year basis while Medical leaves r calculated at the end of 1 year of service

there r few more types of leaves like maternity leave, paternity leave, leave not due, extra-ordinary leave etc. but these r not generalised leaves and r availed only for specific purposes.

I want to ask ;

1) is probation period has been imposed on us

2) if yes ; what is its duration and what are change in service conditions in probation then in confirmation...

 

 

 

As mentioned in service rules, there has to be a 2 yr probation if directly recruited. (only case we'd be recruited,, no indirect i.e. by promotion),, and unless our contractual period is not taken into account, All new recruited (incl. us) do stand in probation. No effect on salary or so.

 

Normally probation period is 3 yrs, we're lucky to have it reduced to 2 yrs.

 

And to mention, we'll try to get our contractual period incorporate/accounted into service. If that happens, we're way over probation period.

BIGGEST PLUS POINT WITH SERVICE RULES IS THAT OUR GAZETTED STATUS AND PARITY WITH VO HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OFFICIALLY BY PB.GOVT.FOR MORE DETAILS PLEASE GO THRU SERVICE RULES AND SEND\ YOUR VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS TO DR VIPAN.

kindly tell me about inservice post graduation,means if anyone want to go for further studies(inservice) what r the options avilable means what about pay,leaves,etc..

 

The limited time offers "with pay leave" and "half pay leave" are no longer available. Now you can only get "without pay leave" and that too after min 3 years of service after probation.

I WANT TO GIVE SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS:-

 

1. THAT PERIOD WHICH WE HAVE SPENT IN ZILA PARISHAD ON CONTRACT SHOULD BE COUNTED IN THE PROBATION PERIOD CALCULATION.

 

2. OTHER SUGGESTION IS THAT THOSE RVOS WHICH HAD SERVED ZILA PARISHAD AS RVO AT ANY TIME PERIOD FROM 2006 TO 2011 AND HAS LEFT /RESIGNED IF THEY AGAIN JOIN ZILA PARISHAD IN FUTURE ,THEIR SERVICE IN ZILA PARISHAD DURING THAT PERIOD SHOLUD ALSO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT FOR CALCULATION OF THEIR PROBATION PERIOD.
