The 11th National Livestock Championship, 2019 has been postponed due to suspected cases of FMD in northern states. There have been sporadic cases of suspected FMD like disease in animals, though there hasn't been any outbreak so far and the dept. have contained the spread the disease. The samples has been sent to ICFMD (International Centre for Foot and Mouth Disease), Bhubaneshwar for confirmation on the same. - Hon' Dir. A.H., Dr. Inderjeet Singh
