    Dept. started enforcing the Bovine Breeding Act.

    A truck carrying unauthorized illegal semen was seized by Animal Husbandry dept. They were defrauding innocent by mis-labeling poor progeny semen as good quality semen and people were falling in their trap in hope of getting good quality semen. Dept has started seizing and taking legal action against all such practices. A three member committee has been constituted to  pursue the case further ensuring maximum punishment to culprits and also ensuring that these people can be curbed.

    with continuous efforts of association, hon' minister AH B. S. Sidhu sahb have asked to prepare a file for full pay to newly recruited VOs with basic pay at par with medical officers and that they'll present the same to hon' CM for approval.

    The Dept. of animal husbandry and fisheries issued orders giving additional charges of vacant hospitals to 388 doctors with view to provide better facilities/animal health to all hospitals.
