  1. Boycott (both AI and OPD) A joint front was made yesterday between VOs and RVOs at chandigarh under the leadership of Dr. Khinda and Dr. Ashok Sharma to fight jointly for regularization and NPA. it was decided to jointly boycott all type of reporting and purchee fees (both AI and OPD) and all Pashu melas/ animal fares. Only attandance to be submitted. It was also decided to have a joint dharna at bathinda on 4th October for our demands. the association/Union is also working hard and meeting various ministers, deputy CM and doing whatever they can but we also need support of each n every VO and RVO to make it a big success.
  2. Contract Upgraded for everyone The contract has been upgraded for everyone. The new salary will be approx. 22600. In few distts viz Amritsar, the newbies (new RVOs) signed the new contract/upgraded contract. The contract of those who still hasn't completed 3 years will be automatically upgraded to new one while those who already have completed 3 years will be signing new contract shortly as per norms. The implementation may take 4-5 working days as still some distt. ZPs have not received the letters. We hereby congratulate everybody. Congrats Everyone and enjoy the new contract.
  3. Topics merged as they were same. Surprisingly we both were posting this topic around same time.
  4. Press Conference Amritsar 18/09/2010 Today a press conference was held at Amritsar by PSVDA in which all print and TV media was present. The PSVDA strongly Condemned Government attitude that RVOs are working under ZPs without any grouse which it was advertising in newsoaoers for past few days. We also strongly presented our demand of regularization of all RVOs.
  5. Yes That indeed was an excellent response from vets all over. And we're certainly looking forward to some great plan workout and gr8 responses from the govt. Hopefully we'll get whatever we want very soon if all vets keep supporting like today. And we would especially like to personally thank each and everyone present there today.. Below are paper cuttings from "Ajit" Zee News (website)
  6. RMO Salary Revised yet again. In recent cabinet meeting, the salary of remaining RMO's was revised again and increased to 37000 (in hand). In recent times their salary got hiked/increased . And we're just sitting ducks watching and not getting anything for us. We don't even have hike salary for those who completed 3 years. Wake up Vets. Its time for action and not to show laziness and making excuses of not being able to come when union calls. Either raise a voice or be a part of the voice raised by our fellow vets. Even the new 400 VI's will get 23000 (20800+2200). and here we are after 4 years of contract. we've already wasted a lot of time and been passive for a very longer period. Time to wake up n do something fellas. And you can also see that 14000 teachers regularized without affecting the Govt. Treasures whish are otherwise affected when they are to regularize us.
  7. PSRVOA new homepage We've just made a new homepage for our association - "Punjab Rural Vety Officers Association" and the tutorials are also added to make sure the website is easy to use for everyone.
  8. New 125 VO regular Posts Coming soon. As per the information received from some mixed but reliable sources there are indeed 125 regular VO posts coming. The AH Dept. is all set to go. According to some backlog out of total 125, 115 are reserved for SC category, 5 for general, 2 for BC, 1 for ESM, 1 for Handicapped, 1 for freedom fighter / Sports (subject to availability). The Above distribution was confirmed from the Secy. A.H. Smt(IAS) Usha R Sharma (the distribution is subjected to change at A.H. Dept. discretion.) Although no official statement has been made on this either by Dept. or the ministry but A.H. minister S. G.S. Ranike did said about coming 125 posts in an interview telecasted on Doordarshan a week ago, but no further comment was made on when its coming or so. So fellow vets get ready to struggle, struggle to increase this 125 posts to 425. Whatever it takes, we have to do it. Its now or never. Note: The above information is not yet public and no official statement has been made on this and is subject to change anytime. This above said information can not be made basis for anything until unless any official listing is made/done.
  9. But we didn't even had assurance from anybody. We definately need to take harder steps. Yes that indeed is a very good idea of submitting the cylinders but for that we all need to be ready for that and for that we need a very strong communication and understanding between us which is lacking. Lets go this time from bottom to top. Decide first in respective distt. and then move to state level. This way we'll have acceptance of all RVO's before declaring anything !!
  10. Yes that (Regularization) should be our only demand and target now.
  11. Read again sir, it says "CM Agrees to regularise the employees that completed 3 years." Below is the same newspaper cutting with above highlighted.
  12. And as a reminder, there are very few VI vacant posts and despite that fact, 400 of them is soon going to be appointed. So, Where we stand ??? Ask yourself. Attached is a newspaper copy showing total VI vacancy in punjab as on Nov 2009 . (Source is English Tribune Newspaper and is subject to authentication). Here is the link to "The Tribune Chandigarh" website with the above news. http://www.tribuneindia.com/2009/20091106/jplus.htm
  13. 400 VI posts with starting Pay 23000 As per the advertisement in various newspapers today, 400 VI posts has been announced with a pay package of 23000 + regularization (after 18 months). And here we're sitting ducks with a salary of 18000 merely watching them pass through. Its time for action and not for negotiation. After 18 months they'll get 23000 which we failed to get even after 4 years. we're still fighting to get 22600. Here is the difference. Its time to stop Wild Goose Chase and stop Beating around the bush, and put straight forward demands of regularization in front of Govt. Below is the newspaper cutting from Ajit Daily.
  14. We totally agree with you Dr. we need to take hard steps but before that we need to take the most important step ie. bringing all vets together and making each and everyone ready to take the haedest steps that we may need to, including mass resignation if needed,. We need each and every vet to participate and contribute to the moment of regularization.
  15. Regularization of contractual employees who completed 3 years. Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal yesterday announced that employees that are on contract since 3 years will be regularized. Attached is a copy of paper cutting from Ajit Daily.
  16. Exactly doc, i totally agree with you. All our association lacks is a proper communication and good leadership support as in our case our leader never bothered to confirm the boycott status in various distt.'s and nor any attempts were made on state level to communicate with unwilling SVO's. Noone's motivating the union, and noone's backing up. We could do better n will surely have to.
  17. According to replies received on phone and poll here, the boycott was successful in some of the distt.'s but not in all as in some distt.s RVO's (some or all) submitted reports [we're not naming them here for morale reasons]. while in some distt's SVO's denied fees without reports and in same distt.'s other tehsil SVO accepted. so controversies arised within some distt.'s thus making this move as, "Not so smart move". Vets unity also seemed to be lagging. And this is how "we're not getting anything "
  18. same is in Distt. Muktsar. No reporting done.
