Veterinary officers joint Action committee is on warpath against violation of 30-B (VCI Act 1984) , Undue delay of Probation/promotion cases clearance, extra-increments for PG vets, removal of ad-hocism, stoping insubordination, getting counted RVO contract service for promotion, period jobs for the unemployed vets and so on. Punjab government and higher authorities already know the genuineness of our issues. Compelled by the unwarranted attitude of government, We started our agitations with Zone wise dharnas on gazetted holidays, but still being unheard, we gave call for Mela Boycotts, Minister/FC called us for meeting, but their attitude remained unchanged. Mukatsar and Amritsar Mela has passed with our Complete Boycotts. Authorities are approaching us but with same attitude and dilly-willy assurances, But we want concrete results, no less or more. So Bravo Vets, be firm-stepped for the cause. We will achieve for what we had moved. Geared up For 17th October Attari Dharna. No person no excuse, it is again the time for DO OR DIE. The principles of veterinary medical ethics are in danger due to oppressive behaviour of administration and despotic ruler who seem to have shut their ears on our regular demands .... The time has come to produce a louder voice to open them..... This is possible with the cumulative efforts of each and every Veterinary Officer complying with our modes of protest against the tyranny. Today, Punjab State Veterinary Officers Joint Action Committee decided to proceed our agitation with more stern actions with 1. Boycotting any REPORTING to department 2. Boycotting MELAS 3. Boycotting every MEETING of animal husbandry 4. Working in CVHs with BLACK FLAGS/ BADGES Above agitation would start with effect from 10/10/16..... **Committee has also decided to hold A STATE LEVEL DHARNA at Dist Amritsar, in the constituency of Minister AH on 17/10/16 , which every VO is mandatory to attend. This is now time to show our honesty and reliability to protect dignity of our cadre . Probation update : 5 more Probation cases cleared from Patiala District

With great efforts of PSVOA / Dr Navdeep Singh Khinda 40 more probation cases has been cleared. Congrats to all 40 and special thanks to PSVOA / Dr Khinda for their untiring efforts. Stay tuned and all will be cleared as soon as possible.
