Dear RVOs as we all know we have stopped direct communication with AH dept and it is being followed fully everywhere. But as and when new situations arise a new discussion is needed, but there should be no confusion in anybody's mind about non cooperation with AH, full boycott of AH is there. Regarding joint activities like pashu melas where administration is also involved it is clarified that these melas are the stage where we can show our protest and unity so there will be complete boycott of these melas irrespective of who is directing or ordering us. If administration or govt want us to participate, they should fulfil our demand of directorate. As first step we boycotted communication then AI. Now we will boycott pashu melas and be clear and united, we are not going to stop here only if our demand is not met. We will resort to dharnas against ZP, against director even against CM if needed. Alumni Meet on 29.11.2013 at GADVASU, Ludhiana It gives me immense pleasure to share the news that Alumni Association, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana is organising one day Alumni Meet on 29.11.2013 at PAL AUDITORIUM, PAU, Ludhiana in collaboration with Punjab State Veterinary Council. It will comprise of a brief inaugural function followed by a technical and interactive session on the useful topics for the field veterinarians. There will be a participation of around 600-800 veterinarians working in the State Animal Husbandry Department, State Rural Development Department, Cooperative Agencies, Private Agencies, Retired Veterinarians as well as the faculty of the College of Veterinary Science. It is an excellent opportunity to share and depict the new/innovative products/molecules/vaccines with the eminent practicing as well as teaching veterinarians from the state of Puniab. Today a RVOA delegation comprised of Dr GP Singh (Ropar) and Dr. Kamal (Ldh) met Dir RD and gave memo about directorate and other pending demands like CPF, Probation and disparity of pay among districts. Delegation also complained about checking by BDPOs. Dir gave required instructions to his staff and assured delegation to take up matter of directorate with Govt. - Dr. N.S. Khinda.

Today Dr. Jiwan Gupta met Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Dean COVSc (GADVASU) and gave a memo on behalf of RVOA to bring in his notice that GADVASU is ignoring RVOs and only VOs are invited for the activities organized for field vets. Hon' Dean has taken prompt action and ordered concerned staff to do parallel communication to Dir. RD and ADC(D) along with Dir. AH and DDAH.

As recently AH Dept. revised OPD fees and other fees charged to patients/owners but this does not apply to ZP hospitals until a notification signed by Secy./FC RD is received. Like earlier in PAU/GADVASU, OPD fees used to be Rs 20/30 irrespective of what AH dept. used to charge because of department being different although both were categorized under Govt. Veterinary Institutes. These variations/revisions are released by FC AH to be applicable to AH hospitals and dispensaries and NOT the hospitals that belong to ZP.

As already announced long ago that if Govt. fails to give us our separate directorate, RVOs will boycott AI with straws from AH dept. AI (semen straws and Liq. N2 gas) was the last connecting link between RVOs and AH dept. ,, breaking unnecessary bonds, RVOs in a protest boycott the AI and demanded separate directorate. Attached : Press Coverage.
