Nearly 5 lakh employees and 1.5 lakh pensioners would benefit from the DA hike. State finance minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa said the enhanced DA from July 1 to October 31 would be disbursed in two ways - the amount for the first two months (July 1 to August 31) would be deposited into the General Provident Fund (GPF) account of employees, whereas the arrears from September 1 to October 31 would be paid in cash. He stated that with effect from November 1, the enhanced DA would be merged into the employees' salaries. Dhindsa said the DA had been increased on the pattern of the union government, adding that the 7% hike would put an additional liability of Rs. 351.63 crore on the state exchequer. He stated that in the case of employees appointed on or after January 1, 2004, the enhanced DA for the period from July 1 to August 31 would be paid in the form of national saving certificates or kisan vikas patras. With so much already achieved n still working hard to get everything deserved, its worth mentioning once again that it was impossible without participation and contribution of each and every one of us, It was the RVOs dedication and unity that sailed this RVO ship. And to keep this ship running, we need to keep rowing else it'll come to halt. So keep the spirits up n be that you all are,, strong and united. We're happy as long as we've some achievements to show at the end of each year that we can proudly say that we achieved. i didn't read it either, i just overlooked few lines and to what i understand, it affects nurses, husbandry workers(humans) etc,, no description of vety. But the judgement of this/this judgement can be the basis of that case as well in future. But still, i didn't read it full, there may be reference of Vety pharmacists. And i guess i wont be reading it either mainly coz its 160 pages that doesn't concern us. Let pharmacists read these n we'll hear from them

A committee comprising of ADC(D) Patiala, Gurdaspur, Roopnagar and the concerned deputy directors has been constituted for solving problems of RVOs , RMOs and teachers working under ZP.
